Terms &
Conditions.
Last updated: 1 January 2026
These terms apply to all sales.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all sales of goods by Leen's Antiques & Furniture ("Leen's", "we", "us") to buyers ("you"). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms; the version in force at the time of your purchase applies.
When ownership passes.
A binding contract of sale is formed when we issue a written confirmation of your order (by email) and you have paid in full, or paid an agreed deposit under a reservation arrangement. Title to goods passes to the buyer only upon receipt of full payment.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery. For goods in transit under our insurance cover, risk is effectively held by our insurer until delivery is confirmed. See our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.
How we represent our pieces.
We describe all pieces to the best of our knowledge and belief. Condition grades (Excellent, Good, Vintage, Restored, As Found) are defined on our FAQ page. All known defects, repairs, and non-original elements are disclosed in the House Notes field of each listing.
Antique and period objects are inherently imperfect. Minor wear, age-related patination, and historical repairs consistent with a piece's age are not grounds for return unless they constitute a material undisclosed defect.
Payment terms.
Full payment is required before dispatch. We accept bank transfer, UPI, and credit card. For pieces above ₹5,00,000, a 25% deposit may be accepted to reserve the piece, with the balance payable within 14 days.
If full payment is not received within the agreed period, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and relist the piece. Any deposit paid is non-refundable in such circumstances unless the piece was materially misdescribed.
Return and refund terms.
We offer a 14-day return window from confirmed delivery date. Pieces must be returned in their received condition. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless the return results from a material undisclosed defect or error on our part. See our Returns & Exchanges page for the full procedure.
Circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for failure to deliver or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, civil disruption, port closures, customs delays, or freight partner failures. We will notify you promptly of any such delay and work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Governing law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), Kerala, India.
For buyers in other jurisdictions: nothing in these Terms affects any non-excludable statutory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
