Shipping & Delivery

Yes — we ship worldwide. All international consignments are handled by specialist art and antiques freight partners who provide insurance-grade packaging, full condition documentation, and door-to-door white-glove delivery. We do not use general couriers for fragile or high-value pieces.

Shipping is quoted individually for each piece based on dimensions, weight, destination, and any special handling requirements. After purchase we will contact you within 24 hours with a detailed freight quotation. There is no obligation to proceed until you have accepted the quote.

Yes. All consignments are insured at full replacement value during transit. Our freight partners carry specialist fine art and antiques liability cover. In the event of transit damage, we manage the claim process on your behalf.

Domestic (India) delivery typically takes 5–10 working days. International delivery varies by destination: UK and Europe 10–18 working days; North America and Australia 14–21 working days; Middle East 7–14 working days. Customs clearance can add time in some jurisdictions.

Complimentary standard domestic shipping is available on orders above ₹5,00,000. International shipping is always quoted separately due to the complexity and cost of specialist freight.

Condition & Authenticity

Excellent — very minor age-related wear only, fully functional, no significant flaws. Good — honest wear consistent with age and use; structurally sound; all original. Vintage — visible wear or patination that does not diminish character; clearly original. Restored — professional conservation or structural restoration has been carried out; original surfaces preserved. As Found — offered exactly as acquired; no cleaning, repair, or intervention.

We always disclose any non-original elements in the House Notes field on each listing. Common disclosures include replaced hardware, re-upholstery using period-appropriate materials, and structural repairs. We never represent restored pieces as all-original.

Yes, always. Contact us with the piece you are interested in and any specific areas you would like photographed — joints, marks, wear areas, hardware reverse — and we will supply additional images within 48 hours.

Yes. For pieces above ₹50,000 we will prepare a written condition report including photographs on request, at no charge. For particularly valuable pieces, we can also arrange an independent third-party inspection report.

Purchase & Payment

Bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS), UPI, and major credit cards (via our payment gateway). For international buyers, SWIFT wire transfer or credit card payments in your local currency are accepted. We do not accept cash.

All pieces are priced in good conscience at what we consider fair market value for their quality and rarity. For buyers purchasing multiple pieces or making direct bank transfer, enquire via the contact form — we are always willing to have a conversation.

Yes. A 25% deposit is required to place a piece on reserve, with the balance payable within 14 days. Reserved pieces are held for up to 30 days; after that the deposit is returned and the piece is relisted.

Title passes to the buyer upon receipt of full payment. For pieces in transit, title has passed but risk of loss is covered by our transit insurance until delivery is confirmed.
