Shipping &
Delivery.
Every piece in our care is packed and shipped by specialist fine art and antiques freight partners. We do not use general couriers for our collection.
How we ship.
Antiques and period furniture require a different standard of care in transit than ordinary goods. We work exclusively with freight specialists who carry specialist fine art and antiques liability insurance, provide climate-controlled storage where required, and document the condition of every piece before and after transit.
Every consignment leaves with a full photographic condition record. Packaging is tailored to the object: custom timber crating for fragile or large pieces, acid-free wrapping for surfaces, and corner protection that will not transfer.
Transit times by region.
| Region | Estimated Transit | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| India (Domestic) | 5–10 working days | White-glove delivery to door. Standard and express options available. |
| United Kingdom & Europe | 10–18 working days | Specialist art freight. Full customs documentation provided. |
| North America | 14–21 working days | CITES / export permits arranged where required. |
| Middle East | 7–14 working days | Freeport and bonded storage available on request. |
| Australia & Asia–Pacific | 14–21 working days | Quarantine compliance documentation included. |
| Rest of World | Quoted individually | Contact us for destinations not listed. |
All transit times are estimates and exclude customs clearance, which can vary significantly by destination. We will keep you informed of any delays.
Your purchase is protected.
All consignments are insured at full replacement value during transit. Our freight partners carry specialist fine art and antiques liability cover under a blanket policy that applies from the moment a piece leaves our care to the moment it arrives at yours.
In the event of transit damage, we will manage the claim process in full. You are not required to negotiate with freight companies directly. We will replace, repair, or refund — our choice of resolution is always in your favour.
International paperwork.
We handle all export licensing, CITES documentation (for applicable organic materials such as ivory, tortoiseshell, or certain timbers), and customs paperwork on your behalf. Import duties and taxes in your destination country are the buyer's responsibility — we will advise on likely costs where we are able.
For buyers in the European Union, UK, and North America, we provide all documentation required for customs clearance as standard. For other destinations, please enquire in advance.
